The unique texture and surface patterns on an individual piece of glass are the starting point for each new piece. These patterns are transferred as a drawn interpretation onto the surface of the silver

These are then gradually hand pierced using a saw frame, aiming to recreate the pattern formations in the silver. Layers build up shadow and depth as the two skins of the object are brought together in the final object

Pierced pattern, layers, light and shadow are currently being explored in new materials and with laser cutting techniques, into a range of larger scale interior panels, screens, ballistrades and artworks for individual private residencies and specialist architectural practices
