This collection is inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the West Coast of Scotland, where Alex spent a silversmithing residency at Cove Park, in October 2006. Slate greys and blues of rock, clouds, sea, rain, and thunderous Scottish skies threaded with sharp silvery sunlight have developed into a collection of glass and silver bowls and vessels.
